(Large Cliff with Fish by Henri Matisse)
The focal point is on the file of food in the center of the beach. Then the eye moves around following the shore line and stopping at the darker dots of paint on the mountain. I liked this because you could tell the fish were fish even though  its blurry.

(The Blue Disc by Fernand Léger)
The focal point in this painting is the center of the circle. The focus then spirals out into the other semi-circles around it and towards the darker blue colors. I liked this because it looks like and illusion that doesn't stop spiraling.

(Yellow Composition by Fernand Léger)
The focal point is on the red dots first then you start looking at the black squares around the sides and start following the vines. This made me think of NYC (The Big Apple) because of the red dots and the leaves. I thought that it was interesting that the painter was French and not from New York. The painting was very structured yet flowy because of the vines.
